Day 24 of 30 Portraits - Marie

Marie and her boyfriend Thomas made the most amazing Neo Queen Serenity and King Endymion! We had a fun little shoot in the studio and a nearby park that resulted in some serious incredible images. I wish I had more time to edit today so that I could post more, I'm really enjoying them.

Somehow I managed to miss four days there, my bad. This is Jinx, modeling for the fashion designer Apatico. She always does a wonderful job.

Day 15 of 30 Portraits - Inara again

I was going to have some fun cosplay photos of a couple today, but sadly the weather and other factors conspired to ensure that didn't happen, so Inara and I went to the park instead!

Day 14 of 30 Portraits - Emily Again

I wasn't going to post a second portrait of anyone, but this was just too much fun not to share. I just downloaded the trial version of Photoshop CS5 over the weekend and was playing around with the new "Content Aware Fill". It's amazingly awesome for getting rid of little things, I totally love it for that. When filling an entire backdrop however, you get some interesting results as you can see above. :D

Day 12 of 30 Portraits - Jenifer

This particular photo shoot turned out amazing. The lighting was spot-on, the model was fun, engaging and beautiful, and the clothing was cute and colourful! I loved it so much that I decided it deserved at least one more photo to be released from it.

I was commissioned to shoot a studio party for local artist Nathaniel Smith, this was he as well as one of his friends/admirers. It was great fun and I got a lot of wonderful images from the event.

Katherine is awesome and I'm really hoping she calls sometime soon to do a fire dancing shoot because I think that would be super fun!

Adam is the husband of one of my fellow artists in the Libertine Asylum design collective. He often comes along to the meetings and I snapped this while he was intently listening to others speak.

30 Days of Drayke

I created this blog specifically for my 30 Day projects. I'm starting with 30 Portraits in 30 Days. This will run throughout June 2010. If all goes well, maybe I'll start a new project next month. Let's just see if I can make it for 30 days straight. My goal is to have 30 images of 30 different people, let's do it!
